Flic-en-Flac Mauritius has one of the most popular beaches on the Island and attracts many visitors with its vast array of restaurants, bars, hotels, and shops. Street food and watersport activities vendors walk around all day long, willing to offer their services to locals as well as tourists.
The beach is wide, facilities such as showers and toilets are free and properly maintained, there are booths for picnics and barbecues, and on the weekends there are often free music and dance shows.

FLAVOURS BAR & RESTO
I first came across Flavours Resto Bar when it was known as “Kozy Garden” and subsequently became “Hidden Garden”. Flavours Resto Bar sits inside the courtyard of a very small shopping center called Tutti Fruiti located on Royal Road in Tamarin.
Looking at the building from the roadside, you wouldn’t imagine that a bar and restaurant would be inside, and to my mind, has always been one of the area’s hidden little gems.
The bar is a kiosk in style and has barstool seating around three sides. Behind the bar is a central island displaying an extensive range of spirits with a selection of unusual rums to try.
The food is of very good quality and presented well. Flavours have earned a very good reputation locally for its food and especially its sushi.

SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS
Without a doubt, swimming with dolphins in their natural environment is an unforgettable experience. Here in Mauritius, there are many dolphin tour operators that can take to out for a few hours to enjoy this wonderful experience.
For some people the experience is something mystical, for others, it is like returning to our origins, for everybody it is a lifetime experience!
Dolphin swimming trips will last about last 3-4 hours and allow each swimmer to enter the water at least 2-3 times.
To get the most out of the experience, some confidence with fins, masks, and snorkel is useful.
