Brought to you by Karen Thornalley &

I have spent many days relaxing at the Le Morne beach over the last few years and I have no doubt there will be many more. If you want a day to chill out that has There is a cafe/restaurant that is open to the public connected to the end of the Lux Hotel wherefrom the public beach you can enjoy food and drinks including alcohol.

If you love adventure, with activities such as paragliding, windsurfing, and surfing, Le Morne beach is also for you. This is due to the continual wind blowing across the coastline making it a perfect spot for these watersports.

Take a dip in the clear blue waters and relax and the soft sand. Currents can get pretty strong even close to the beach so be careful with young children. There is plenty of shade under the beach-lined Casuarina trees for picnicking and an afternoon snooze!

There are a few hotels and and the famous Paradis golf course in Le Morne which are located near the beach.
