Moving to Dubai

About a year ago, I packed up and relocated to Dubai after years of moving between countries. I’m a freelance digital marketing consultant, mostly working with US-based clients, so location was never critical. What I wanted was a place where I could settle down without constantly worrying about visas and instability.

I visited Dubai once, liked the pace and structure, and decided to make the jump. Before moving, I spent weeks researching the real estate market and eventually used https://dubai-real.estate/ to look for properties. I wasn’t planning to buy at first, but after comparing rental prices and long-term options, purchasing made more sense.

I chose an apartment in Business Bay, close enough to everything but still calm enough to work from home. The process was much more straightforward than expected, and having professionals guide me through it helped a lot.

Now my daily routine is stable, my clients don’t even notice the change in location, and I finally feel like I’m building a base instead of constantly passing through places. For anyone with a location-independent profession, Dubai can be a solid long-term choice, not just a temporary stop.
