What’s available
Food you can get delivered
Coverage
Delivery mainly covers Grand Baie, Port Louis, Ebène, Rose Hill, Curepipe, Flic en Flac, and main towns. Rural and remote areas are more limited — direct calls to local restaurants often work better.
Payment
Cash on delivery is widely accepted. Some apps accept credit cards. Delivery fee is typically MUR 50–150. For direct restaurant orders, confirm payment method when ordering — most accept cash or bank transfer.
Grocery Delivery
Winner supermarket offers home delivery. Some local vendors deliver fresh produce boxes. For large shops, driving to a supermarket is still the most reliable option in most areas.
Catering for events
For events and parties, numerous catering companies operate across the island. Expect to pay MUR 500–1,200 per head for full catering with service. Ask in expat Facebook groups for recommendations or contact hotels who often have event catering services.
